Kaniv isn't a big Ukrainian town. It is on the banks of the Dnipro river. Kaniv is not far from Cherkasy. This town is famous for Uspensky Cathedral and Shevchenko's grave on Tarasova Hora. There are many monuments and museums in it. People like Kaniv because it is an old, green and beautiful town.
