- dry → wet / сухий → мокрий
- freezing → warm / морозний → теплий
3. Read the kids' blogs about the climate in their countries. Find the places on the map. Say what the climate is like in different parts of the world
- Poland → The climate is fine. It is chilly in winter and it sometimes snows. However, summer is quite warm and sunny. / Польща → Клімат хороший. Взимку прохолодно, іноді йде сніг. Однак літо досить тепле і сонячне.
- India → It is very hot and sunny. It doesn't rain very much. That is why the weather is quite dry. / Індія → Дуже жарко і сонячно. Дощу не дуже багато. Тому погода досить суха.
4. Say what you usually do when it is: sunny and hot / cold and snowy / wet and chilly
- I tan when it's sunny and hot. / Я засмагаю, коли сонячно і жарко.
- I play snowballs when it's snowy and cold. / Я граю в сніжки, коли сніг і холодно.
- I sit at home and surf the Internet when it's wet and chilly. / Я сиджу вдома й переглядаю Інтернет, коли мокро й холодно.
5. Write about the climate in Ukraine. Use the texts above as examples.
