Write about a day in your life! Imagine you are a rider working for the Pony Express. Write about a day in your life, describing what you do in your job.
My day starts before sunrise at the home station. I check my equipment, grab a quick bite to eat, and wait for the incoming rider. As soon as he arrives, he passes the heavy mail bag to me. I quickly jump onto my horse and ride as fast as possible across the dusty trails. Every 15 miles, I reach a small relay station where I swiftly switch to a fresh horse. After riding nearly 100 miles, I hand the mail bag over to the next rider at the next home station and rest.
