PROJECT A report about a famous city
My Trip to Madrid
Last spring, I went on an unforgettable trip to Madrid, the capital of Spain, with my family. The city is famous for its beautiful parks and rich culture. We had lovely, warm weather during our visit.
First, we went to the Royal Palace of Madrid. It was huge and so grand! Next, we visited the Prado Museum, one of the most famous art galleries in the world.
After lunch, we decided to relax in Retiro Park. It’s a beautiful, large park where you can even rent a boat on the lake. I didn’t go shopping for anything special, but I loved the lively street markets.
I learned about the history of Madrid and its importance to Spain. It has been the capital city since the 16th century.
My favourite part of the visit was walking through the busy square, Puerta del Sol, and seeing the famous bear and the strawberry tree statue. Madrid is a city full of life, and I hope to go back one day.
