First, you arrive at the airport and go to the check-in desk (E), sometimes you have to wait in a queue (H). You show your passport and ticket and get your boarding pass. Then, you go through the security check (C) and passport control (I). Finally, you find your departure gate (F) and wait for your flight.

What’s the difference between a boarding pass and a ticket?
A ticket is a document that shows you paid for the flight. A boarding pass is what you get after you check in, and it allows you to get on the plane. What’s the difference between a security check and a customs check?
A security check is for safety, to make sure no one brings dangerous things on the plane. A customs check is about what goods you are bringing into a country.
