a) In July, Americans celebrate Independence Day. It is a day of political freedom. A lot of people put the American flag in front of their houses. People are with their families. They have a picnic or barbecue and play sports games. There are a lot of parades, shows and fireworks in the streets. The symbol of this day is the Statue of Liberty. / У липні американці святкують День незалежності. Це день політичної свободи. Багато людей ставлять американський прапор перед своїми будинками. Люди зі своїми родинами. Вони влаштовують пікнік чи шашлики та грають у спортивні ігри. На вулицях багато парадів, шоу та переробок. Символом цього дня є Статуя Свободи.
b) Independence Day of Ukraine: is the main state holiday in modern Ukraine, celebrated on 24 August in commemoration of the Declaration of Independence of 1991. On Independence Day, we wear traditional clothes and go to the main squares to celebrate this holiday. Flags are flying everywhere. / День Незалежності України: головне державне свято в сучасній Україні, відзначається 24 серпня на честь проголошення Незалежності 1991 року.
